Marketing and business consulting for makers in Vancouver

You make beautiful things. Let's make sure they sell.

Hands-on marketing and business consulting for people who make handmade products in Vancouver, BC. Pricing, markets, wholesale, online shops and brand, from a maker who has done it herself.

Who it's for

For anyone in Vancouver who makes things by hand and wants to turn that into a business.

Just starting

You love what you make but don't know where to begin. We work out the first steps together: product, price, first customers.

Selling, but unevenly

Orders come in, but not steadily. We look at which channels fit you, how to be seen, and how to turn one-time buyers into regulars.

Growing the range

A new product, a new line, or getting ready for wholesale. What to make, what to drop, how to price it.

How we work

Three steps, at your pace.

  1. Say hello

Send a short email about what you make and where you're stuck. I reply with first thoughts and we set up a free intro call. [Confirm: free intro call, 20 or 30 minutes.]

  2. Review and roadmap

We go through your products, prices and sales channels together. You come away with a prioritised plan you can actually act on.

  3. Do the work, together

I stay alongside you while you put the plan into practice. Regular check-ins, honest feedback, course corrections when needed.

About

Hi, I'm Begüm Sungurtekin.

I'm a maker too. I founded Norte Bakery, a small handmade bakery brand [in Vancouver, confirm], and I still run it today. I know how much work goes into making something by hand, and I know the doubts that show up the moment you try to sell it. [Short bio: education, years of experience, previous industries.]

My aim isn't to hand you a formula. It's to build a path that fits your product, your capacity and your life.

Things I've done the hard way

  • Writing the first price list
  • Setting up the first market table
  • Landing the first wholesale order
  • Launching the first online shop

[Begüm to confirm these four.]

FAQ

Questions makers ask

How do sessions work?

Online by video call, or in person in Vancouver [confirm areas]. You get written follow-up notes after every session.

I haven't sold anything yet. Is this for me?

Yes. Some of the most useful work happens before the first sale. Fixing a wrong start is harder than starting right.

What does it cost?

The intro call is free. After that I suggest either a one-off working session or monthly support, depending on what you need. [Packages and prices to be added once confirmed.]

Let's talk.

Write a few lines about what you make and what you need. I read every email and reply personally.
